Responsible for the efficient running of the EHS function within the Bennington, VT manufacturing location. Job Location: Vishay Tansitor is located in Bennington, VT and is the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal-coated capacitors worldwide. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees between 3 shifts. What you will be doing: Has training in emergency response, hazardous material handling, industrial hygiene, life safety and ergonomic compliance-related activities. Willing to be trained in this if not trained. Recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exists Assists EHS Supervisor in surveys to determine safe limits of exposure to materials or conditions and recommends control measures. May serve as leader or member of emergency response team. Willing to help out in maintenance as needed.
